DressagePower will process your personal data when you register for and participate in the competitions organized via DressagePower. We process your name, address, personal number, email address and license number primarily to allow you to participate in the competitions, to be able to pay out prizes and awards, and to manage profile clothing, but also to be able to send relevant information such as result reports and competition information. We use our website and social media for information about results, as well as photographs and videos of riders and horses.

DressagePower is the data controller for the processing of your personal data (”personal data”) in connection with your participation in competitions and the events we organize in connection with competitions. Personal data includes information that you directly or indirectly provide to us through your registration, such as first and last name, postal address, personal identification number, email address, mobile phone number, license number, account number, and other personal data necessary for the administration of your participation in the competitions.

DressagePower will store and process personal data to administer our competitions. DressagePower will also process personal data for the follow-up and evaluation of the competitions we organize. The legal basis for the processing is your agreement with DressagePower regarding participation in the competitions we organize. The provision of personal data is a necessary prerequisite for the agreement on participation in the competitions to be fulfilled, for results to be reported, and for prizes and other awards to be distributed.

If you have consented to receiving direct marketing, e.g. newsletters, emails, SMS or updates via social media regarding results etc. from us, we will process your contact details for this purpose for a longer period.

The personal data will be stored for the duration of your participation in our competitions and for such subsequent period as is necessary for DressagePower to fulfill its obligations and conduct an evaluation of the competitions.

You have the right to request free information about the personal data that is processed about you at DressagePower. If you wish to receive such information, please send an email to info@dressagepower.se. If your personal data is incorrect or has been processed in violation of applicable law, you have the right to request that the personal data be corrected, blocked, or deleted. You also have the right to be forgotten.

Consent to the use of name and image in advertising

During DressagePowers respective competitions, riders and other participants will be documented and photographed both in still images and moving images. You are hereby informed that, by participating in the competitions, you may be photographed or filmed in various contexts. DressagePower, its sponsors and partners may use this photographic material in their communication and marketing. By participating in DressagePowers competitions, you hereby consent to DressagePower using photos of you in its marketing in accordance with the Act (1978:800) on names and images in advertising.
