Sweden gets a new international dressage competition – DressagePower International Horse Show
DressagePower continues its long-term commitment to the Swedish equestrian sport and is now presenting its biggest new development since its inception in 2016. On May 13–16, 2027, the premiere of DressagePower International Horse Show will be held at Åby Arena in Mölndal, Gothenburg – a new international dressage competition with the ambition to become one of the leading meeting places for the sport in the Nordic region.
For four days, some of Europe’s top riders gather with the future stars of international dressage in world-class competition. But the vision goes beyond the competition course. The DressagePower International Horse Show is meant to be an experience where sport and community come together – and where the horse always comes first.
With the theme ”Inspired by Horses – United in Harmony” DressagePower wants to create an international arena that brings together riders, horse owners, companies, and spectators in an inspiring environment.
– We want to create a competition where the world’s elite meet the next generation of riders on Swedish soil, while offering an experience that inspires the entire equestrian world. The DressagePower International Horse Show will become a natural meeting place for riders, horse owners, companies, and audiences from all over Europe, says Kristian von Krusenstierna, Founder of DressagePower.
International sports of world class
The competition includes international classes from Pony to Grand Prix and brings together riders from several of Europe's top dressage nations.
More than one competition
The DressagePower International Horse Show becomes a destination for the entire equestrian world with content that extends far beyond the competition arena.
Visitors can, among other things, experience:
- International dressage at the highest level
- VIP experiences and networking events
- A fair with companies in equestrian sports and lifestyle
- Restaurants, food experiences and social meeting places
- Activities for riders, horse owners and the audience
Since its inception in 2016, DressagePower has established itself as one of Sweden’s most dynamic players in the equestrian sport through innovative competition concepts, training programs, and initiatives that develop the sport. The international competition is the next natural step in that development.
